Description

The Quinta dos Cónegos house was built between 1727 and 1737 in the Baroque style, strongly influenced by the Nasoni school. From the same period, there are several sculptural elements characteristic of the Baroque style, attributed to Nasoni.

The restoration and interior design project was led by architect António Pinto Leite, in collaboration with architect Pais de Figueiredo and engineer Santos Farinha. Under the auspices of FRESS, the house is regaining its former splendour and now showcases the foundation’s finest collections. In 2017, Quinta dos Cónegos was acquired by Maia Municipal Council.
